The Maricopa Community Colleges

The Maricopa Community Colleges has an active social media marketing platform, in which they engage with students and prospective students on a daily basis. In an online world of “white noise,” one proven way to cut-through the clutter is by engaging your audience through video and motion graphics. Videos have been proven to demand more consumer attention than any other medium. In fact, people are about 10 times more likely to engage, embed, share, and comment on video content than other online media.

There are multiple finished videos presented in this video, each created for a specific campaign the client wanted developed. The “Join Our Community” was an ongoing campaign that we developed out dozens of videos around that theme. The process was similar to other work I had completed for them; I would take the copy the client wrote, create rough still concepts based on that and their initial creative brief, present and then begin to animate the text and other elements on the chosen direction. From there, revisions and refinement were done as needed, based on the client’s feedback. Overall, each video roughly took the same amount of time to take from concept through to production. In a matter of just a few hours of work from beginning to end for each, I was able to hand off each completed video to them on-time and under-budget.
